   I have the same problem, one of the other commenters mentioned: the tip of the shoe is so narrow that it can not get anything for my daughter’s foot and leg into the opening. We tried to loosen connections insofar as they go, taking the food completely, and so on. Nothing works. This may not be a problem with the larger sizes, but try to take care of buying these boots for 3-4 years.
   
   It’s a shame, because the boots are cute and very sturdy, they are likely very cold.
   
   I live abroad, so that the return of these annoying is huge. * Sigh *
